Key Accountabilities
Culinary Excellence
- Plan, organize, and execute banquet food production according to event requirements and service timelines.Â
- Ensure all dishes meet established quality, presentation, and consistency standards.Â
- Support menu planning and culinary innovation in collaboration with the Executive Chef.Â
- Participate in menu tastings and customization for special events and VIP functions.Â
- Maintain a guest-focused approach to elevate the overall banquet dining experience. Â
Operational Leadership
- Lead daily banquet kitchen operations and production planning.Â
- Coordinate with Culinary, Events, Stewarding, and F&B teams to ensure seamless event execution.Â
- Supervise, motivate, and develop culinary colleagues to achieve operational excellence.Â
- Manage staffing and scheduling according to business demand.Â
Food Safety & Compliance
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP requirements.Â
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, and waste control procedures.Â
- Promote a safe and organized working environment.Â
Financial & Business Performance
- Support food cost control initiatives and efficient use of resources.Â
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing requirements.Â
- Contribute to productivity and continuous improvement opportunities within the operation.Â
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of culinary leadership experience, ideally within banquet or large-volume hotel operations.Â
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality or international hotel brands preferred.Â
- Proven experience managing teams and delivering high-quality event catering.Â
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.Â
- Food Safety / HACCP certification preferred.Â
