Seabury at Pomperaug Woods is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department while actively participating in the work alongside staff. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, coaching team members, and ensuring every resident experiences the comfort of a well-maintained home.

What You'll Do

As a Working Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll balance supervisory responsibilities with daily housekeeping duties.

✅ Supervise, train, coach, and support housekeeping staff
✅ Perform cleaning duties in resident apartments, common areas, and healthcare spaces as needed
✅ Conduct quality inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met
✅ Coordinate daily assignments, apartment cleanings, and special projects
✅ Manage housekeeping supply inventory and ordering
✅ Promote infection control and safety standards throughout the community
✅ Respond to resident requests with professionalism and hospitality
✅ Foster a positive, productive, and resident-focused team culture
✅ Partner with leadership to ensure department goals and service standards are achieved

What We're Looking For

✔ Previous housekeeping experience required
✔ Prior supervisory experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or hotel environments preferred
✔ Strong leadership and communication skills
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, sanitation practices, and infection control standards
✔ A positive attitude and commitment to exceptional customer service

✔ Must be efficient in Microsoft Office.
