Scope of Work

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will report to the BCBA Supervisor at Beaumont Health- TED Lindsay Foundation Hope Center. The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst shall be responsible for conducting behavioral assessments and subsequently designing behavior analytic interventions for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst will supervise Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts and/or Registered Behavior Technicians in the implementation of such behavior analytic interventions.

The Behavior Analyst will primarily be working directly with parents and caregivers of children with a suspected diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder, providing evidenced based parent mediated intervention services.

 Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess a master’s degree.

  • 1 to 3 years’ experience working as Board Certified Behavior Analyst (preferred).

  • Candidate must be certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst; if/when Michigan offers licensure for behavior analysts; candidates will be required to hold Michigan license as a behavior analyst.

  • Thorough understanding of principals of behavior analysis.

  • Familiarity with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities
