As an Allergy Medical Assistant, you will be directly involved in our Perfect Patient Journey, ensuring that we deliver patient-focused care at all times. We are looking for individuals who learn quickly, are capable of working independently as well as part of a team and have a positive attitude.   About us:   Ear, Nose & Throat Consultants (ENTC) has been in practice for almost 50 years and is highly regarded in the medical community. Our office stays up-to-date with the latest in surgical and medical treatment(s) and equipment for a state of the art facility.   Duties/Responsibilities: Demonstrate kindness and compassion in all patient interactions. Help patients by providing information, services, and assistance. Verify patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit. Triage and room patients in an efficient manner to maximize clinical flow. Perform Allergy skin testing and administer allergy injections Scanning documents for billing services Answer calls, schedule appointments, check in/ check out patients, collect payments. QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities: Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Preferred experience in Otolaryngology. Preferred experience in Allergy, Immunology and/or Asthma experience.   Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year related medical assistant experience in allergy and immunology required.   Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
