Meade Lexus of Southfield - Express/Quick Lube Technician

Meade Lexus of Southfield is seeking an Express Service / Quick Lube Technician to join our Service team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and wants to build a career with a luxury automotive brand.

As an Express Technician, you’ll perform routine maintenance services efficiently and accurately while delivering the exceptional guest experience Lexus is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes
• Rotate and balance tires
• Inspect brakes, tires, fluids, belts, and hoses
• Complete multi-point inspections accurately and thoroughly
• Reset maintenance reminder systems
• Identify and communicate additional service needs to advisors
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all Lexus service procedures and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Basic automotive knowledge or hands-on mechanical experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Willingness to learn and grow within the Lexus brand
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
• Prior quick lube or express service experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate standard automotive tools and equipment
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors as needed
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug
