About
- The Treasury Analyst supports the Company's treasury operations, including daily cash management, bank reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and treasury administration. This position assists in ensuring accurate and timely cash positioning, supports banking and payment operations, and helps maintain strong internal controls over Company assets. The Treasury Analyst works closely with the Treasury Director, Accounting, and Finance teams to support the Company's liquidity and reporting needs.
Reporting
- The Treasury Analyst reports to the Director of Treasury
Essential Responsibilities
- Monitor and record daily cash positions across all Company bank accounts and report findings to the Treasury Director.
- Prepare and support regular cash flow reports and assist with short-term and long-term cash forecasting.
- Process and review wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other electronic payments in accordance with treasury policies and internal controls.
- Perform daily bank reconciliations and research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist with maintaining and monitoring positive pay systems and other fraud prevention controls.
- Support administration of corporate banking platforms and treasury management systems (TMS), including user access, reporting, and troubleshooting.
- Assist in tracking debt compliance requirements, covenant calculations, and lender reporting deadlines.
- Compile treasury-related data, reports, and dashboards to support management and executive reporting needs.
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end treasury reporting and reconciliations in coordination with the Accounting team.
- Support maintenance of banking documentation, signer authorizations, and account records.
- Help monitor working capital metrics and identify opportunities to improve cash conversion and liquidity.
- Assist with treasury audits and provide documentation in response to auditor requests.
- Identify opportunities to streamline treasury processes and improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality of all financial and Company information.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- Progress toward a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CPA, or related certification a plus.
Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, accounting, or banking preferred.
- Experience with bank reconciliations, cash reporting, or payment processing preferred.
- Experience within equipment distribution, manufacturing, construction, dealership, industrial services, or related industries a plus.
Treasury & Financial Analysis
- Working knowledge of cash management, bank reconciliation practices, and basic treasury operations.
- Ability to analyze cash flow data and identify trends, errors, or discrepancies.
- Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
Communication
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and, on a limited basis, banking contacts.
Technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required.
- Experience with treasury management systems (TMS), ERP systems, or online banking platforms preferred.
- Comfort learning and using financial reporting and dashboard tools.
Organization & Time Management
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily and weekly deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
