What You’ll do...
• Manage projects spanning multiple departments using established PMO processes
• Coordinate efforts across product development, systems and programming, client services, and other cross functional teams
• Lead projects with varying scope and complexity, including outsourced solutions and enhanced products and services
• Initiate, plan, schedule, control, and successfully close projects
• Develop high level project milestones and timelines
• Create and maintain project plans and track and maintain project action items
• Communicate project status, decisions, and updates through meetings, agendas, minutes, email, and other channels and develop repeatable processes when applicable
• Maintain knowledge of industry requirements, processes, and procedures
• Support projects managed by other project managers as needed
• Assist with release management through testing and deployment stages
• Engage business partners in the implementation and support of strategic products
• Develop and manage vendor relationships in accordance with COCC policies
• Oversee statements of work, contract fulfillment, billing processes, implementation guides, and training materials as applicable
• Monitor project milestones and task completion
 
What You’ll bring...
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent work experience 
• PMP certification required
• Demonstrated experience in project management processes
• Ability to analyze and propose solutions for diverse and complex application issues
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Strong problem solving skills and root cause analysis capabilities
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks in a demanding environment
• Strong technical aptitude
• Experience building and maintaining complex project plans
• Ability to conduct meetings and communicate urgency and priorities effectively
• Self starter with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, clients, vendors, and team members
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and communicate clearly
• Experience with project management software, Smartsheet experience preferred
 
 
The salary range for this job is $61,200 - $91,800. This is a hybrid position in Southington.
