We're excited to grow our team by hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to help build, automate, and support the systems that keep our software running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with the IT Infrastructure, InfoSec, Software Development, and QA teams to enable efficient and secure development, testing, and release of software products
  • Build and maintain automated pipelines for code integration, testing, and deployment
  • Work with senior level DevOps Engineers to define, document, and enforce adherence to Policies and Procedures that govern DevOps operations
  • Implement logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting using application and pipeline monitoring tools
  • Review, verify, and validate hosted systems software releases to ensure they adhere to DevOps and InfoSec processes
  • Document all information flow of all hosted systems
  • Develop automation for deployments, configuration, and operational tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
  • Analyze and recommend steps to ensure the protection of the company’s source code per company configuration standards
  • Analyze, document, and implement the software release process of all hosted systems
  • Work with the Infrastructure team to troubleshoot all hosted systems in post-production operational state ensuring that all post-production outages and incidents are documented and handled according to corporate processes
  • Monitor post-production hosted systems to ensure efficient performance per corporate defined KPIs
  • Work closely with the InfoSec team to Identify and deploy control measures to ensure compliance and adherence to corporate security standards
  • Produce and disseminate periodic reporting on software projects and post-production performance to management and customers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field preferred
  • CompTIA Server+, Security+, MCSA, or similar certification preferred
  • 1 – 3 years of hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012R2 - 2022 Operation Systems
  • 1 – 2 years of working experience in a Software Development Operation capacity
  • 1 – 2 years of hands-on administration and management of source code control and production platforms (GitLab, Team Foundation Services, etc.)
  • Knowledge of deployment/configuration management tools such as Jenkins or Puppet
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution and customer service skills
