Description

Full-Time (40 hours) - Clinic Network


Patient Access Associate will be responsible for direct daily operations of the clinic and in the delivery of coordinated care with the clinic and Dosher Memorial Hospital. The position involves customer service, attending meetings, message distribution, ordering supplies, and dealing with patient complaints. The position recipient must manage time efficiently and set priorities in order to meet deadlines. The associate is accountable for making sure all log books are kept up-to-date, all compliance is up-to-date, and supplies are ordered as needed.


The associate will coordinate and participate in a variety of duties associated with daily clinic preparation process, patient identification, patient check in/out, charge posting, cash management and patient appointment scheduling. Position also involves customer service, message distribution, and ancillary scheduling and preparation and referrals management.





Requirements

Education:

*High school graduate or equivalent

*Physician office experience required three (3) to five (5) years


Necessary Skills:

*Ability to comprehend and follow instructions

*Familiarity with Regulatory Standards

*Maintain strictest confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations

*Ability to perform in emergency situations

*Ability for rapid mental/ muscular coordination simultaneously

*Experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding procedures
