Primary Duties & Responsibilities Include:
路 Building new brands and expanding distribution across Martignetti鈥檚 portfolio
路 Visiting open accounts and covering routes when sales reps are on vacation or unavailable
路 Building and maintaining active and close relationships with accounts in territory to provide the highest level of customer service satisfaction
路 Analyzing a client鈥檚 current situation, creating an effective solution, and being determined to see it through
路 Attending weekly general sales meetings at Martignetti鈥檚 Connecticut location
路 Reaching sales and placement goals
路 Working with the Merchandising and Graphics departments to effectively leverage marketing and Point of Sales material to increase sales
路 Other duties may be assigned as required
Requirements
Physical Demands:
路 Occasional physical exertion including the regular lifting of objects weighing up to 25 pounds and the occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 40 pounds
路 Work requires frequent standing or walking throughout the work day
路 Work requires considerable mental concentration to effectively execute complex tasks requiring periods of focused mental and visual concentration
路 Work requires travel and exposure to weather conditions while visiting customers, prospects or vendors
路 Potential for accidents due to over the road travel including traffic accidents, delivery of goods or the set up of displays
Requirements:
路 Highly motivated, results-driven individual with a strong passion for sales
路 Energetic, relationship builder with an innate desire to work hard
路 Previous knowledge in wine and spirits is beneficial but not required
路 Excellent time-management and communication skills
路 Experience in restaurant and/or retail outlets a plus
路 Must have a valid Connecticut driver鈥檚 license and vehicle registration
