Job Position Summary: Responsible to Sets up machines according to assigned job using hand tools such as wrenches, socket sets and coil handling materials.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, Tech School preferred
  • 5+ yrs Experience with CNC Machines
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Strong attention to details
  • Organizational skills. 
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Time Management Skills 
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and company operation sheets.
  • Ability to use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators.
  • Ability to set up CNC machines according to assigned job. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbally. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to safety regulation and standard. Follow Safety culture and wear PPE when required. 
  • Sets up machines according to assigned job using hand tools such as wrenches, socket sets and coil handling materials.
  • Follows procedures and information on routing sheet for each specific job. 
  • Assures material meets correct specifications of each job as stated on routing sheet.
  • Reads and follows blueprints to meet specifications.
  • Inspects first pieces for quality assurance.
  • Sets machine monitoring system according to proper mode of job
  • Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc. as required.
  • Observes overall operations and performs regular daily maintenance on equipment and work area. 
  • Operate within AS9100/ISO9001 requirements to include proper documentation, revision control, traceability, and lot control.
  • Maintains production completion logs and submits to management daily.
  • Reports any problems or discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
  • Follow 6s Procedures and maintains a clean organized work area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions:

  • Normal Production environments, subject to high noise levels from operating machines; physical hazards from moving equipment and sharp machine parts; breathing fumes, dust and mist; skin exposure to oil and cutting fluid; exposure to sharp metal edges, and forklifts. 
  • May be asked to travel back and forth between Southwick and Westfield facilities. 

 Physical Requirements:

  • May have to lift up to thirty (40) pounds at a time, as required.
  • Must be able to push, pull, reach overhead, stand, walk, climb stairs, bend and/or sit for long periods of time.



1st Shift – 7:00-3:30pm Monday – Friday
