Job DetailsJob Location: Greg St - Sparks, NV 89431Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Not SpecifiedSalary Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 Salary/yearJob Shift: SwingJob Summary: The production supervisor is responsible for overseeing spice manufacturing at Elite Spice and ensuring all spices processed meet food safety and quality requirements. The production supervisor will enforce all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’S) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and ensure production operators are maintaining a sanitary work environment.  Work shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 2pm - 10:30pm. Duties include but are not limited to: Essential Duties: Responsible for monitoring day to day production operations and workload allocation Be present on the production floor and available for employees to ask questions and report any problems or concerns to Monitor employee productivity/performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching Responsible for training, evaluating, and disciplining department employees Maintain department timekeeping Verify department paperwork for accuracy and sign off on required documentation Communicate relevant information for shift handoff Assist in reviewing and resolving department complaints Maintain a safe and sanitary work environment Enforce and comply with all of Elite Spice’s policies, procedures, general safety, and food safety guidelines Tools, Equipment, Materials Computer Scanner/printer Multi- line phones Physical Demands: Sitting occasionally     Standing frequently    Walking frequently Lift up to 50lbs Carry up to 50lbs Twisting occasionally Kneeling occasionally Bending occasionally Constant repetitive movement of hands Environmental Demands: Constant exposure to dust and spices Constant exposure to heat or cold Constant exposure to vapors: spices, oils, Constant exposure to loud noises and vibrations Constant exposure to heights QualificationsQualifications Previous leadership experience Prior knowledge of food manufacturing processes Ability to be organized and follow up on tasks Ability to receive and provide instructions in a positive manner Possess interpersonal skills, leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills Strong communication skills Bilingual a plus Ability to work in a team setting and independently Proficient with Microsoft word, excel, and outlook Maintain forklift license Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
