POSITION SUMMARYThe lead person is responsible for coordinating and overseeing department activities and functions in order to perform shipping, receiving and inventory functions. The lead person ensures processes are being followed according to standards and schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESÂ
Maintain constant communication with the supervisor to coordinate work assignments to meet customer demands and shipping schedules Â
Assist employees by solving problems, answering questions, reviewing quality, and training employees Â
Responsible for shipping, receiving and inventoryÂ
Assists in the coordination of truck arrivals and dock assignmentsÂ
Create and review productivity reports Â
Drive continuous process improvementÂ
Drives inventory accuracyÂ
Operation of material handling equipmentÂ
Adheres to company policies, procedures and safety standards and maintains a clean work environmentÂ
Other duties as assigned by Leadership Â

EDUCATION:Â
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required;Â Â

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:Â
4 plus years of experience working in a distribution centerÂ
SAP Knowledge preferredÂ
English language proficiency due to required communication to company and customers outside of the Nevada distribution centerÂ
Experience training other individuals on job duties Â
Certified for operating material handling equipmentÂ
Certified to work at heightsÂ
Basic math and computer skills to perform distribution functionsÂ
Knowledge of Safety and Health policies and promotes a safe and positive work cultureÂ
Continuous improvement knowledgeÂ
