Forklift Operator

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced and careful Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be operating a forklift while ensuring efficiency and safety.  

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Operates forklift or other hand truck.
• Unloads materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacks them to assigned area.
• Uses wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory.
• Adheres to quality and customer service standards set forth by the Company.
• Performs cycle counts as required.
• Picks, wraps, and stages orders to be shipped
• Inspects and performs maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
• Identifies safety hazards in the workplace.
• Consolidates partial pallets for incoming good.
•  Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.

 MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts preferred. 
• 1-2 years of experience as forklift operator or similar role.
• Attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of industrial equipment.
• Excellent coordination.
• Good time-management skills.
