The Imprinting Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the imprinting press operations within the Sparta facility. This role ensures that all imprinting activities – caps/closures liners and assembly - are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards and customer specifications. The Imprinting Supervisor will manage a team of imprinting operators, coordinate with Production Scheduling, Supply Chain, Injection Molding and Flexo/Digital, and work to achieve production goals while maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise and lead a team of imprinting press operators, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
    • Develop work schedules and assign tasks to meet production deadlines.
    • Promote a positive and safe work environment.
  • Imprinting Operations:
    • Oversee the setup, operation, and maintenance of imprinting machines and equipment.
    • Ensure that all imprinting processes adhere to quality standards and client specifications.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to imprinting operations promptly.
  • Quality Control:
    • Monitor the quality of caps and closures and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards.
    • Collaborate with the Quality team to address any quality concerns.
  • Coordination and Communication:
    • Work closely with other departments – Production Scheduling, Supply Chain, Injection Molding, Flexo/Digital – to ensure seamless operations.
    • Communicate production updates and any issues to the Production Manager and relevant stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
    • Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
  • Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs. 

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in imprinting or a related field, with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Experience working within manufacturing preferred.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
    • Strong understanding of caps, closures, liner and assembly processes, equipment and quality control standards.
    • Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
    • Familiarity with imprinting machinery and production software is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • The position requires standing for extended periods and working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work assigned shift, including weekends, as needed to meet production demands.
