Job DetailsJob Location: Sparta, WI 54656Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayJob Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented IT Technician / Security Systems Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting security camera systems as well as supporting general IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with CCTV systems, basic networking, and IT hardware, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a variety of environments. Duties Install, configure, and maintain security camera systems including CCTV, IP cameras, and NVR/DVR systems. Run and terminate network cables for cameras and IT equipment. Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, and network issues. Perform routine IT system maintenance including computers, routers, switches, and printers. Configure network devices and ensure proper connectivity for security systems. Test and monitor installed camera systems to ensure proper operation and security coverage. Provide technical support to staff and clients as needed. Maintain documentation of installations, configurations, and repairs. Ensure all installations comply with safety and security standards. Respond to service calls for system maintenance and repairs. QualificationsSkills Experience with CCTV/security camera installation and maintenance. Basic knowledge of networking (IP addressing, routers, switches). Experience with computer hardware and IT troubleshooting. Ability to run cables, mount cameras, and use basic installation tools. Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Valid driver’s license. Ability to lift equipment and work in various environments. Experience working with IP camera systems and network video recorders (NVR). Familiarity with network infrastructure and structured cabling.
