Job Summary:
The Spool Assembler is responsible for assembling spools and keeping the spool box inventory adequately stocked.
Essential Functions:
- Monitors and inspects spool box inventory.
- Inspects spool inventory at each spooling station to determine if it requires restocking.
- Collects all supplies needed to assemble the spools and assembles in designated area.
- Restocks spool inventory first then each spooling station with assembled spools.
- Keeps Spool Making Designated area clean and tidy on a daily basis.
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform additional duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

- Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.

Physical Requirements:
- Standing for sustained periods of time.
- Making substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
- Visual acuity is required.
Work Environment:
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
- Noise level is usually moderate to high.
Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience:
At least 1 years’ experience related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
