MRI Technologist – Full-Time, Second Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Join Piedmont Imaging as a full-time MRI Technologist and provide exceptional patient care while performing high-quality MRI examinations in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This second-shift position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with no weekends
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI scans safely and efficiently.
- Screen, prepare, position, and monitor patients throughout exams.
- Review orders, select appropriate imaging protocols, and administer contrast when required.
- Ensure image quality and complete accurate documentation.
- Maintain excellent patient care, customer service, and safety standards.
- Follow MedQuest policies, OSHA regulations, and quality assurance requirements.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a safe MRI environment.
- Participate in continuing education, cross-training, and certification maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI
- Must complete required CEU’s in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active
- Active state licensure, where applicable
- CPR Certification is required
Prior Experience:
- 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required
- 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred
Special Qualifications:
- IV skills required
- Knowledge of MRI procedures and standards
- Demonstrate adequate knowledge of anatomy
- Skill in operation of MRI equipment
- Customer service background and focus
