Rhino Tool House is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of Overhead cranes, material handling equipment, industrial machinery and equipment. You will utilize your expertise in troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance to support customer facility operations and enhance production efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of industrial equipment, including Overhead cranes, below the hook lifting devices, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, motors, conveyors, and PLCs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime and extend machinery lifespan.
  • Collaborate with Management and customer operations teams to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance software.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficient with time management and ability to work unsupervised.
  • Ability and to work alternate shifts when required to meet production requirements.
  • Ability to work at heights, operate fork-truck, scissor lift and boom lift.
  • Must have valid driver’s license.
  • Must pass background check

Preferred:

  • 1-3yrs Overhead crane maintenance, inspection and repairs & industrial machine maintenance, service and repair.
  • Experience with PLC’s, VFD’s, Radio Control Systems and troubleshooting.
  • Certifications in areas such as OSHA 10/30, mig, tig, stick welding, or electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Expertise in troubleshooting and repairing overhead cranes, industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and software for maintenance management.
  • Understanding of automation systems and robotics is a plus.
