Overview

The primary purpose of the Material Handler position is to help facilitate quality orders that are shipped on time by loading, unloading, kitting, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site and by performing the following duties.

The primary purpose of the Material Handler position is to help facilitate quality orders that are shipped on time by loading, unloading, kitting, and moving materials within or near plant, yard, or work site and by performing the following duties.

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Licensed Forklift Operator.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to operate a forklift and/or a pallet jack. The associate frequently is required to move and retrieve. The associate is occasionally required to stay in a stationary position; ascend or work atop; and stoop or traverse. The associate must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
