Wastewater Operator We are looking for individuals with a keen skill in math, biology, and chemistry with a high mechanical aptitude. Key knowledge and skills vital to our operations personnel include knowledge of treatment processes for water and sewer treatment systems, knowledge of water and sewer regulations, safety practices, ability to conduct field inspections, ability to apply Asset Management concepts including preventive maintenance programs, asset inventory, condition assessments, criticality analysis, failure analysis, and budgeting. The right individual is a critical thinker with the ability to diagnose situations and apply their knowledge to ensure production of the highest quality product. Attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with the public, between departments and with state and federal officials is a key function. Successful candidates can push through challenges to achieve the desired outcomes in a timely manner. This position is located in Spartanburg, SC. We are seeking individuals to work mostly night shirfts to cover 24/7 coverage. Candidates should be self-motivated with a desire to be part of a team that works together to accomplish the mission. Members should have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. QualificationsUS Citizen. E-Verification required; No felonies or major misdemeanors. High school diploma or equivalent. One (1) year of experience in field operations 2 programs. Possess SC Waste Treatment License, but willing to train the right person. Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License. Excellent communication skills required including demonstrated fluency with reading, writing and speaking the English language. Readily accessible by phone with ability to work "on-call" for emergencies. Envirolink, Inc. is a drug-free work place. Initial and random drug testing is required.
