Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in ENT clinic.
• Schedule patients and perform office administrative functions.
• Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period.
• Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care.
• Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients.

Requirements:

• Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
• Previous clinic nursing experience preferred
• IA LPN or RN license
• BLS - onsite training available upon hire

Schedule: 

• 72 hrs per pay period
• 4 days per week; 7:30a-4:30p
• The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
