Job Description


We are seeking a part time Floor Technician to join our team at White Glove Janitorial & Building Services. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring types in our clients' facilities. This position will be based out of Spencer and you will drive a company vehicle to out-of-town locations. Jobs could be scheduled for when they work for you! Paid drive time to all locations.


Responsibilities

  • Perform routine floor maintenance tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
  • Buff and polish floors to maintain a high level of shine and cleanliness.
  • Run a floor swing machine
  • Apply floor finish
  • Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Ensure all floor care products are used safely and effectively according to guidelines.
  • Inspect floors regularly for damage or wear, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Maintain inventory of floor care supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment.
  • Ability to operate floor maintenance machinery such as buffers and vacuums effectively.
