At Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, our team delivers emergency and general practice care around the clock. We treat a wide range of species including small animals, exotics, equine, and farm animals, giving technicians the opportunity to build advanced skills and work on unique and rewarding cases.

We are currently adding experienced Veterinary Technicians to support our emergency and overnight services. Ideal candidates are confident, adaptable, and passionate about providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

• Weekend Overnight Veterinary Technician — Sign-On Bonus Available
Overnight positions eligible for up to $3,000 sign-on bonus

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming patients and recognize emergencies
• Assist doctors with diagnostics, procedures, and treatments
• Place IV catheters and perform venipuncture
• Administer medications (PO, SQ, IM, IV)
• Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
• Take and position digital radiographs
• Provide nursing care for hospitalized patients
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records
• Communicate treatment plans and updates with pet owners
• Utilize low-stress handling and patient advocacy techniques
• Opportunity to assist with large animal cases

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary technician experience required
• Credentialed technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred
• Knowledge of medications, procedures, and medical terminology
• Ability to stay organized in high-volume environment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility for rotating holidays and on-call coverage
