ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
The Maintenance Electrical Planner is responsible for the planning of electrical maintenance work throughout the facility utilizing established maintenance system processes and in accordance with established regulatory and workmanship standards.
The Maintenance Electrical Planner essential functions include:Â
- Execution of the Planning and Scheduling work process in their assigned area. This includes:
- Engaging internal customers to prioritize the unplanned work backlog
- Planning required electrical work
- Engaging internal customers to prioritize Planned ready to Schedule backlog
- Creation of a Weekly Schedule.
- Creation and update of job plans and preventative maintenance procedures.
- Coordination of the generation/update of required supporting drawings as required.
- Purchase of parts and materials for execution of maintenance work
- Coordination of rebuild able spare part repairs.
- Coordination with department engineering staff for major project support.
- Execution of select Major Maintenance Projects
- Execution of small, limited Capital Projects (capital spare purchases, large equipment purchases)
- Generation of scopes of work for contract services.
- Act as Owner’s Representative as required for contracted services.
- Comply with all safety, quality, and environmental regulations
EDUCATION
A two-year degree (technical field) or equivalent work experience is required.

EXPERIENCE
This individual will possess:
- In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and NFPA 70B
- 3+ years of experience in executing, supervising, or planning electrical work in an industrial environment.
- Strong computer skills, including Windows, Word, Excel, and Project
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proven ability to work in teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CMMS software (MAXIMO) preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Approximately 50% of the job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions. 50% of the job function is required in the plant. There is exposure to operating machinery and a manufacturing environment.
