Dietitian - Nutrition Services at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA
Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Registered Dietitian (RD)/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist(RDN) in collaboration with other health care team members, plans and provides medical nutrition therapy to patients. Â This includes nutritional assessment, development of therapeutic plan, nutrition education and monitoring of patients response to medical nutrition therapy. Â The RD must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned units.

Required Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or nutrition-related field -OR-
- Master's Degree in Nutrition or nutrition-related field
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification -OR-
- Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: Washington Nutritionist CertificationÂ
- Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic RegistrationÂ
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Certification by American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, American Association of Diabetics Educators, or Academy of Nutrition and DieteticsÂ
- Experience in Clinical Dietetics specifically with age group to be served (neonate, infant, toddler, preschool, school-age child, adolescent, early adult, middle adult, older adult)
- Work experience in acute care and/or outpatient settings, as applicable
