Young Life requires all employees to sign a Statement of Faith. Staff member would focus in on one campus as primary ministry and possibly supervise a secondary club. About 25 hours week will be focused on direct ministry, 15 hours a week will be focused on adult work, development and area support. Mission / Authority: Through both training and direct field ministry experience, learn how to lead and participate in effective Young Life ministry. Ministry Functions include Spiritual Development, Leadership Development, Resource Development, Direct Ministry, and Ministry Support. Responsibilities include maintaining a vibrant spiritual life, leading teams and individuals in spiritual development, recruiting and training volunteer leaders, raising financial support, engaging in contact work, club, Campaigners and camp, managing finances and administration, and adhering to Young Life policies. Training includes mission-wide, regional, and area training with expectations to complete Core Training Phase One and Leadership I and II as a Staff Associate. Education: College degree preferred. Qualifications: Must have completed Core Training —Phase One, experience in direct ministry, proven relational skills with kids and adults, demonstrated verbal and written communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
