Compensation Range:

$79,100.00 - $119,646.00

Job Description:

Purpose of Job:

Improve the overall health of the communities we serve by providing behavioral health services and clinical supervision to behavioral health providers (BHPs) as follows:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·Provides clinical supervision of BHPs, to include:

.Participates in the orientation and training of new/onboarding BHPs and related competencies.

.Assesses clinical skills and appropriateness of care via chart review and clinical supervision.

.Facilitates regular peer supervision with BHPs in support of clinical growth, including presentations, agendas and notes.

.Participates in BH Clinical Lead meetings and enhances clinical information communication paths to/from BHPs.

.Works with Integrated Behavioral Health Leadership to implement clinical goals.

.Develops, trains and supports implementation of evidence-based practices within behavioral health.

·Creates, maintains, and promotes positive staff relations and efficient patient care strategies.

·Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives.

·Acts as champion for electronic health record system by identifying and teaching efficient use of the system and related processes.

·Facilitates peer review and chart audit process as assigned.

·Maintains patient caseload as outlined in Behavioral Health Provider role.

·Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.

Qualifications:                    

Education/Experience: 

Required: Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related field.  Washington locations require valid state licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor. Current state registration as Clinical Supervisor, or ability to be fully registered within 90 days from start date. Idaho locations require valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Evidence of leadership skills and ability to promote CHAS Health values and high clinical standards. 

Preferred: Chemical Dependency Professional license desired.  Two years of clinical practice with underserved populations desired.  Previous experience in a clinical supervisory role.

Skills:  Knowledge of available community linkage resources. Leadership skills including conflict management and supervision required.  Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with people at all levels of the organization required.  Excellent oral and written communications skills required.  Computer skills required.  Work requires consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion. Valid drivers’ license and insurance required. BLS (CPR/AED) required. Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.

Physical Demands:

Movement around the facility between 1/3 and 2/3rds of the day is required, as well as sitting at a workstation or patient rooms. Using hands occurs over 2/3rds of the day, while reaching with arms less than 1/3rd of the day. Communicating is required over 2/3rds of the day. Lifting up to 10 lbs occasionally is required.
