The Compliance Support Specialist will support and promote FBH’s vision and mission to enhance and change lives. Provide a warm, welcoming and professional environment. Enhance the quality of care by providing support that optimizes clinical productivity. A Compliance Support Specialist performs duties that ensure accurate billing, service documentation and clinical chart requirements.  The Compliance Support Specialist is an integral part of every service area within FBH. Â
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Greet each internal customer, whether by phone or in person, in a warm, welcoming and professional manner.
Demonstrate a positive attitude and efforts toward meeting the needs of internal and external customers.
Work with all programs areas to develop efficient workflows and accuracy of service reporting and billing.
Review a minimum number of encounters per day, per service area and assign appropriate CPT or HCPC codes based on documentation.
Participate in routine trainings and meetings, as needed, to understand service reporting requirements.
Track encounters that require correction and follow through on outstanding items.
Provide education and assistance to direct service staff for correcting documentation.
Accurately record clinical information as it impacts billing and reimbursements.
Enter data into the electronic auditing tool.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
REQUIRED:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
PREFERRED:
Two years billing experience required - College education or specialty certification may be substituted for experience.
Electronic Medical Records data entry experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of medical terminology

Blood-borne Pathogen Category III - No predictable exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
PAY RANGE (Hourly/ Non-Exempt):
Compliance Specialist I - $19.80 - $24.12
Compliance Specialist II – $21.89 - $26.65
Compliance Specialist III - $24.05 – $29.29
All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health, thus the starting pay for this position is:
