Job Title: Service Technician

Location: Midland, TX

Department: Field Services / Technical Support

Report to: Lead Technician / Facility Manager

 

Job Description

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop a basic understanding of Arpco’s equipment and how it works
  • Develop a basic understanding of production and pipeline equipment and systems
  • Conduct basic maintenance and inspections on emergency shut down systems and valves.
  • Be accountable for paperwork including, but not limited to, Job Safety Analysis, Service tickets and Expenditures
  • Be available to work overtime if, and when necessary, including weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

  • Required: 1+ year of oilfield, construction and/or manufacturing experience
  • Recommended: Valve/PRV/ESD experience
  • Bonus: Leadership skills
  • Required: Clean background, drug/alcohol testing and driving record
  • CPR Certification - a plus
  • PEC/Safeland/H2S Training - a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment, climbing, and working in challenging environments.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments.
  • Ability to work long hours and travel frequently to different field locations.

Work Environment:

  • Field-based role with frequent travel to oilfield sites.
  • Exposure to outdoor elements, industrial environments, and safety hazards.
  • May require working in remote or confined spaces and adhering to strict safety protocols.
