Hydromotion is a precision manufacturer committed to quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our Production Team. This is an hourly, full-time position offering excellent benefits and a predictable four-day workweek.
What You’ll Do
Safely and efficiently operate CNC machining equipment
Read, interpret, and follow engineering prints and work instructions
Set up machines and perform changeovers for different part numbers
Change tooling, touch off tools, and adjust offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy
Operate machines productively to meet or exceed established cycle time and quality standards
Load raw material and unload finished parts
Perform manual deburring as required
Conduct in-process inspections and verify parts meet specifications using measuring devices
Complete daily machine upkeep and preventive maintenance tasks
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or GED
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
Proficiency using measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Strong math skills related to machining operations
Ability to follow safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions
Ability to set up and run multiple machines, or willingness to learn and grow
Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise levels
Work performed in a non-air-conditioned shop environment
Safety shoes and safety glasses are required
Physical demands include:
Regular lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
Pushing and pulling materials using a pallet jack
Reaching with hands and arms, including overhead
Standing for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
Frequent use of hands for handling, positioning, and operating equipment
Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
