We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing team and play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and operational support. This position partners closely with plant leadership and corporate finance, providing critical insights that drive business decisions and continuous improvement.Β We are looking for local candidates.

What You'll Do
As a Senior Accountant, you will be a trusted business partner responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting while helping leadership understand performance trends and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
β Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses
β Support monthly close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
β Partner with operations leadership to provide daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting
β Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
β Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation reporting, and capital project tracking
β Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
β Support inventory accounting and annual physical inventory processes
β Review and monitor sales tax reporting through Avalara
β Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting procedures
β Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3-5+ years of accounting and financial analysis experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
- Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Fixed asset and capital accounting experience
- Knowledge of Avalara sales tax software
- CPA or CMA certification, or active pursuit of certification
