ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
- Design a daily and weekly schedule
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
- 5 days a week 8:30-5:00
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
- Strong understanding of child development
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- First aid/CPR certified
Compensation: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
 About Us
Tiny Treasures Nursery School offers full day and before and after care with available transportation to and from local schools.
 Tiny Treasures Nursery School was founded in 1989. We have eight classrooms allowing for a well-rounded curriculum for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old. There are two teachers per classroom. Snacks are provided by the school. Field trips and special programs are scheduled throughout the school year.
Philosophy
Our philosophy is that children learn through hands-on experiences. Through positive reinforcement, consistency and engaging lessons, children grow in a safe learning environment. We offer a stimulating language experience, and opportunities for creative discovery. Children in our care are set up in a world of discovery where there is a balance of self directed play and teacher-directed projects. Â
Our creative curriculum involves all learners through circle time, read-alouds and musical engagement. Children develop their fine and gross motor skills through a variety of activities such as technology, building blocks, and playground play. Tiny Treasures has been NJ State Certified for over 30 years.Â
