Optician Responsibilities:

• Take precise measurements of patients’ eyes and faces to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear.
• Interpret and fill prescriptions provided by ophthalmologists or optometrists.
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Valid New York State Optical License (required).
• Strong understanding of optical principles, lens designs, and eyewear troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with patients and team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience as a Licensed Optician is preferred.
