Are you an experienced Accountant who wants to do more than simply reconcile accounts and close the books?

We’re looking for a proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented Healthcare Accountant to join our growing healthcare organization in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an opportunity to work closely with leadership, provide meaningful financial insights, improve accounting processes, and help shape the financial foundation of a rapidly expanding organization.

This position starts part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on business needs, performance, and organizational growth.

What You'll Be Responsible For

You’ll play an important role in keeping our financial operations accurate, organized, and strategically aligned with our growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.

  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.

  • Monitor spending and provide meaningful budget and variance analysis.

  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.

  • Provide leadership with financial insights, trends, and recommendations.

  • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals.

  • Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, controls, and processes.

  • Help strengthen accounting procedures and operational efficiencies.

  • Maintain the highest standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

⭐ What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who can take ownership of the numbers and confidently communicate what they mean to the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of accounting experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks — required.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.

  • Healthcare accounting experience is a plus.

  • CPA or currently on a CPA track is preferred, but not required.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership.

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to provide financial recommendations.
