Job Description Summary:Â
The Clinical Support Team Assistant supervises, manages and coordinates all day-to-day management of the support personnel and operations that support the delivery of comprehensive mental health and substance use/addiction services in a manner that most satisfies clients.The Team Lead Assistant a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. The Team Lead assistant provides services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. The team leader will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received. The Clinical Support Team Lead Assistant reports directly to the Team Lead Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- Manages and coordinates all aspects of medical records compilation & review, scheduling and reception of assigned offices.Â
- Oversees the supervision and staffing of support personnel, which includes work allocation, training and problem resolution.
- Provides input to Clinical Support Team Leader for performance evaluations (probationary and/or annual) and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to achieve peak productivity and performance.
- Under direction of the Clinical Support Team Leader, Clinical Support Team Leader Assistant is responsible for interviewing, submitting a recommendation for hire to the Clinical Support Team Leader and coordination of training and development for all Support Staff in the Clinical Support Team Leader Assistant’s assigned office(s).
- Responsible for the processing of time sheets and the approval of time off requests for all Support Staff in the Clinical Support Team Leader Assistant’s assigned office(s).Â
- Ensure charts are available for appointments and audits in a timely manner and work in conjunction with the Quality Assurance Team.Â
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:
- TB test upon hire
- Must occasionally deal with irate individuals
- Requires ability to work under stressful conditions and to work irregular hours if needed.
- Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds
- Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, photocopier, and other office equipment as needed
- Sufficient sensory-motor dexterity to complete motor skill tasks, including vision, hearing, and speech.
- Requires prolonged sitting, frequent standing, bending, and stooping.
