The Commercial Loan Closer is responsible for accurately setting up the customer, facility, loan, and collateral in the core banking system, in addition to closing Commercial loans in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. This includes working with the line of business, attorneys and various loan operations departments to ensure loan closings takes place as scheduled. The Commercial Loan Closer will also be responsible for the quality control and system review to ensure all loans are documented in accordance with the loan approval and the bank鈥檚 established guidelines. The Commercial Loan Closer will ensure loan closing packages are received back timely in addition to ensuring exceptions are cited accurately for deficient documents.
Key Responsibilities:
路聽聽Orders and compiles loan documents in preparation for closing; works in conjunction with regionally assigned Relationship Managers, attorneys and title companies to execute requests and to ensure timely responses.
路聽聽Establish and onboard borrowers, guarantors, facilities, loans, collateral and fees on the core commercial loan system in accordance with the credit agreement.
路聽聽Performs quality reviews of Commercial loan files for accuracy as it relates to compliance with bank loan policies and procedures to assist in identifying training needs.
路聽聽Knowledgeable in all aspects of Commercial loan documentation, understanding of legal entities and loan documents such as notes, security agreements, loan/credit agreements, etc.
路聽聽Reviews final documents for completion and accuracy and ensures credit approval memo, loan approval system and credit agreement are consistent.
Competencies Required:
路聽聽Extensive knowledge of commercial and business banking loans with a strong understanding of accounting principles, loan processing procedures, and related regulations.
路聽聽Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to navigate loan and bank software applications and related websites.
路聽聽Excellent organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
路聽聽Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively research and resolve issues and discrepancies.
路聽聽Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
路聽聽Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
路聽聽3+ years of Commercial loan closing, operations or lending experience.
Formal Education & Certification:
路聽聽High School diploma or equivalent required.
路聽聽Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related field preferred.
Work Status:
路聽聽Full-Time.

路聽聽None.
Travel:
路聽聽0%25 - Negligible amount of travel expected.
Working Conditions:
路聽聽Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, ledgers, folders, etc.
