Veterinary Technician (Part-Time or Full-Time)

$18–$23/hour (based on experience)
Full-time & Part-Time opportunities available, including rotating Saturdays

The Village Vet at Sterling Ridge is looking to add a Veterinary Technician to our team in The Woodlands. We are a busy, team-oriented practice that focuses on quality medicine, compassionate care, and building strong relationships with our clients and their pets. We’re currently offering both part-time and full-time opportunities for the right candidate.

This role is ideal for a technician who enjoys hands-on patient care, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable supporting a variety of medical and surgical cases.

What You’ll Do

• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, and procedures
• Obtain patient histories and properly restrain pets
• Prepare vaccines and support diagnostic testing
• Take radiographs and assist with laboratory samples
• Support surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring
• Fill prescriptions and review discharge instructions with clients
• Maintain accurate medical records and enter charges
• Keep treatment areas clean, stocked, and organized
• Provide exceptional client service and patient care

What We’re Looking For

• Veterinary technician experience preferred (2+ years ideal)
• Credentialed technician welcomed but not required
• Comfortable assisting with surgery and anesthesia monitoring
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Availability for rotating Saturday shifts
