The Strategic Project Manager is responsible for aligning and coordinating all aspects of Project Management, from initiation to completion for Continuous Improvement activities. This role bridges the gap between high-level strategies and implementation of the initiatives, while analyzing risk and ensuring the projects are completed on time, within scope and budget. The Strategic Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to ensure seamless execution of project objectives and deliverables.Â

Minimum Education & Experience required:
• Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Project Management, Business Administration or related fieldÂ
• PMP certification is preferredÂ
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Project Management, preferably in a Lean manufacturing environment Proven experience leading strategic projects across cross-functional teamsÂ
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)Â
The ideal candidate possesses the following skills and abilities:
• Master's Degree in Project Management, Business AdministrationÂ
• Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or similar toolsÂ
• Excellent organizational, communication and leadership skillsÂ
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailÂ
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlinesÂ
• Proven ability to collaborateÂ
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Strategic Alignment:
Drive operational excellence; ensuring projects align to DPC's long-term mission and strategic pillarsÂ
• Manage all phases of strategic projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closingÂ
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and cost estimatesÂ
Stakeholder Management & Communication:Â
• Prepare and present status reports (critical updates & outcomes) to Sr. Management and stakeholdersÂ
• Lead project meetings and coordinate communication between internal teams and external partnersÂ
• Foster a collaborative environment and drive continuous improvement and organizational change across the teamsÂ
Performance Metrics & Reporting:Â
• Develop and monitor KPIs; analyze data to evaluate project successÂ
• Utilize data to improve processes and support decision-makingÂ
• Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and implement mitigation strategiesÂ
• Ensure projects meet required standards (i.e. compliance, quality, safety, etc.)Â
