If you are a licensed nurse practitioner who is interested in part time work as an independent contractor, lets talk.
The Nurse Practitioner provides direct patient care in a holistic manner, focusing on key therapy treatments. You will work closely with a knowledgeable and well-respected team to address patients health and wellness concerns, particularly in ion therapy, and administering IV ozone under the supervision of a collaborating physician
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient examinations and evaluations (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent medical records/imaging)
- Order and review tests/labs
- Educate patients regarding their diagnosis, treatment options, rehab/exercises, and various modalities
- Manage patient care including therapies and monitor patient progress, communicate with patients via messaging system, interpret and relay lab results and specialty testing results, and update medical records accurately
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
- Consistent, thoughtful physician support and professional development
- Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, offering compassionate care
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork and ability to handle stressful situations with concentration and energy
- Utilize logical thinking for effective problem-solving and contribute to a professional working environment
- Other duties requested or assigned.
Requirements & Skills
- Graduation from an accredited NP program
- NP license in Texas
- 2+ years of clinical work experience preferred
- Interest in holistic and functional medicine
- Skillful at listening and identifying key information or details.
- Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Flexibility and adaptability in handling changing priorities.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with resilience.
- Experience with injections and IV infusions is a plus
Independent Contractor / 2 8 hours per week
