Job Description SummaryMinimum starting salary $64.76 / hour

Works independently to plan implement, direct, coordinate and evaluate Pharmacy Services for Ozark Center. Develop the departmental mission, vision, goals, long-range plans, services, and budget. They provide services to individuals impacted by a variety of behavioral health (addiction/substance abuse and mental health) issues, recognizing that the individuals we serve often times have experienced trauma that affects their development and adjustment. They demonstrate a warm and welcoming empathic, hopeful attitude, conveying a philosophy of dual recovery. They will be trained in trauma-informed care and will work to help provide services in an environment that is sensitive and responsive which will prevent victimization, abuse, or trauma as a result of the care received.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain staffing to meet patient needs and productivity of department.
  • Promote staff development and enhancement of patient services.
  • Maintain all required licensure and Policies and Procedures to meet legal requirements.
  • Maintain good relations with other departments and members of the medical staff.
  • Work with I.S. to maintain and develop pharmacy computer applications for patient are activities and billing.
  • Establish and implement mechanisms to monitor, evaluate, and improve quality, safety, and customer service for the department.
  • Supervise, develops, mentors pharmacy staff.
  • Assist in monitoring of inventory system including: ordering, storage, delivery and pricing. Tracks and communicates back order and medication shortages informing the Pharmacist-In-Charge and/or Director of Psychiatric Practices.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.
  • Typical demands include prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and occasional lifting.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, telephone, photocopier, calculator, and other office equipment as needed.
  • Requires ability to remain calm during stressful events, to occasionally work irregular hours, and work with exasperated individuals.
  • Occasional lifting to 50 pounds.
  • TB test upon hire
