Our Power Generation division provides turnkey projects toĀ facilitateĀ the development, engineering, construction, commissioning, and operation of renewable power plants. We areĀ seekingĀ a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team focused on solar energy construction projects. The ideal candidate willĀ be responsible forĀ managing the procurement process, ensuring theĀ timelyĀ and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services necessary for the successful completion of solar energy projects.Ā

What You Will Do:Ā 

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to solar energy construction projects.Ā 

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and subcontractors based on quality, cost, and reliability.Ā 

  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.Ā 

  • Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements.Ā 

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders toĀ determineĀ procurement needs and specifications.Ā 

  • MaintainĀ accurateĀ records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier communications.Ā 

  • Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and project timelines.Ā 

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, pricing, andĀ new technologies.Ā 

  • Manage inventory levels and coordinateĀ logisticsĀ to ensureĀ timelyĀ delivery of materials and equipment.Ā 

  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement inĀ a timelyĀ and efficient manner.Ā 

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.Ā 

  • Other duties as assigned.Ā

Who You Are: A Profile of SuccessĀ 

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, orĀ a relatedĀ field.Ā 

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the renewable energy or construction industry.Ā 

  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management.Ā 

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ā 

  • ProficiencyĀ in procurement software and tools.Ā 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Ā 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ā 

  • Knowledge of solar energy technologies and construction practices is highly desirable.Ā 

  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPPB) is a plusĀ 

  • This position may require occasional travel to supplier sites and project locations.Ā 

  • The role is primarily office-based, with some field visits as necessaryĀ
