About the RoleĀ 

We are seeking askilled and experienced Account Executive to leadour Surety strategyand grow our client base in Houston or Dallas, TX.Ā 

Key Responsibilities IncludeĀ 

  • Serve as strategic point of contact for client; Conduct and coordinate client services.Ā 

  • Build and maintaineffective and sustainable relationships with clients on an enterprise-wide basis; Work in the best interest of the client and the company to secure appropriate compensation for the company.Ā 

  • Achieve new business sales goalsĀ 

  • Positively and proactively represents American Global in meetings, seminars, trade shows, networking events, industry associations, organizations, boards and charities, as appropriate.Ā 

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the sales discovery process (due diligence)Ā 

  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of competitors to aid in company prospecting effortsĀ 

  • Build and develop relationship with centers of influenceĀ 

  • Review book of business production reports and account receivable (A/R) reports for accuracy upon receipt, delegate follow up accordinglyĀ Ā 

  • Cultivate local carrier relationships to support company visibility and credibility in the construction surety marketplace.Ā Ā 

  • Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting appetites and contacts and recommend appropriate markets for client programsĀ 

  • Analyze client risk profile and develop marketing strategy with the team and clientĀ 

  • Compile and/or approve complete and accurate large project and program submissions and deliver to underwriters; Provide timely responses to underwriter submission inquiriesĀ 

  • Supports team in response to requests for proposals (RFP)Ā 

  • Identify the surety needs of clients and prospects. Develop and recommend appropriate products and services.Ā 

  • Presents custom solutions to clients and prospects in a clear and professional mannerĀ 

  • Provide thought leadership, embracing change and innovation as the industry evolvesĀ Ā 

  • Additional responsibilities as requiredĀ

Skills & Experience That Lead to Success:Ā 

  • Strong technical Surety knowledgeĀ 

  • Minimum of 4 to 8 years of industry experienceĀ 

  • Proven ability to present and clearly explain information to clientsĀ 

  • Proven ability to clearly explain problems/concerns to co-workers, supervisors and/or agency principals and suggest/recommend solutionsĀ 

  • Competence in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and AdobeĀ 

  • Ability to drive strategyĀ 

  • Ability to effectively promote American Global’s competitive differentiation in written and verbal presentations with goal of growing client baseĀ

  • College degree preferredĀ 

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredĀ 

  • Ability to travel locally as requiredĀ
