Summary

The Warehouse Distribution Support role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our products are efficiently and accurately stored, picked, packed, and shipped. This role involves working closely with the production and sales teams to support the overall distribution process. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to delivery schedules.
• Inventory Management: Assist in the organization, tracking, and management of inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels.
• Loading/Unloading: Safely load and unload products from delivery trucks, ensuring they are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including regular cleaning and upkeep.
• Shipping & Receiving: Assist in the receiving of incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against purchase orders, and updating inventory records.
• Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment as needed (training provided if necessary).
• Documentation: Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, including shipping manifests, inventory logs, and other relevant documents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse and brewery team members to ensure seamless operations and support other departments as needed.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety and quality standards set by the brewery and relevant regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution role, preferably in a brewery or beverage industry, is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 150 lbs), stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to work well within a team, communicate effectively, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing systems.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts and holidays, as needed.

Working Conditions

• The role involves working in a warehouse environment that may be subject to varying temperatures.
• Part-time hours.
