Job Summary

Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them in assigned places. Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the receipt of all finished products.
Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts and/or pallet movers.
Support the materials handling process for production-related materials.
Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse Develop, revise, and review documentation for all materials-related activities.
Weighs pallets and scrap when applicable.
Shrink-wrap finished products and set up floor warehouse pickup.
Adhere to federal and state regulations.
Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures.
Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Predictable and reliable attendance.

Position Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
Valid fork-lifting certificate.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners.
Good physical condition.
Mathematical aptitude.
Good organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication.

Must work rotating shift schedule; may need to work overtime in emergencies.
Must be able to maintain attention for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Must have good hand/eye coordination.
Ability to maintain single-task focus and situational awareness.
Must be able to work in all types of weather, including extremely hot and extremely cold temperatures.
The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day.
