Most new hires start between $23.00-$28.70 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Information:

Performs a variety of laboratory tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease.

Required Education:

Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience

Bachelor's Degree

Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - AMT - AMT, Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) - ASCP - ASCP

Description

1. Assists with research, development, and/or validation of new policies, procedures and/or instruments.

2. Manages stock levels, rotation, and monitors expiration.

3. Performs laboratory procedures and calculates, transcribes and records test results.

4. Prepares and manages specimens for analysis, refers results to Pathology, correlates results and communicates and documents findings.

5. Performs Manual Result Review and proficiency testing.

6. Performs maintenance procedures on laboratory instruments and/or equipment.

7. Performs other duties as assigned.
