The Hydrovac & Jetter Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating Hydrovac and high‑pressure Jetter trucks to perform excavation, daylighting, potholing, utility exposure, and sewer line cleaning. This role supports a variety of underground utility and sitework projects. The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, self‑motivated, and experienced with vacuum excavation and/or jetting equipment. Must be willing to travel (We have jobsites in NWA and OK).

Responsibilities

Operate Hydrovac and Jetter trucks to perform non-destructive excavation and sewer line jetting.
Safely expose underground utilities including water, sewer, electric, gas, and fiber lines.
Perform sewer line cleaning, blockage removal, and debris extraction using high‑pressure jetting equipment.
Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
Follow all safety procedures, traffic control requirements, and company policies.
Assist with basic maintenance and troubleshooting of Hydrovac and Jetter equipment.
Communicate with project managers, foremen, and crew members to complete daily work tasks.
Maintain cleanliness of equipment, hoses, nozzles, and work area.
Represent ESS professionally while interacting with clients, inspectors, and the public.

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A or B with air brakes and tanker endorsement required.
At least 2+ years of experience operating Hydrovac or Jetter trucks.
Strong understanding of underground utilities and excavation safety.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and ability to lift 50+ pounds.
Must pass pre‑employment screenings, including drug/alcohol testing.
Ability to work extended hours, nights, or weekends as project needs require.
