Overview

The Receptionist performs various procedures associated with routine patient encounters, maintains positive relationships with patients, family members, visitors and fellow employees. Receptionist makes appointments for patients and maintains accurate and orderly schedules for physicians.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage all phases of the patient encounter; verify and/or update patient contact information and deliver charts to designated location prior to patient visit
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and follow-up with no-show appointments as needed
  • Receive, record, and relay incoming messages to appropriate personnel timely
  • Collect copays and balances, maintain log sheets, and balance at the end of the day
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Highschool Diploma/GED
