Management Level:

SUMMARY: This position is responsible to coordinate, plan, and oversee the primary responsibilities and functions relating to and or impacting the assigned division inclusive of plant operations, material handling units, Forward Warehouses, internal/external freezer activity, and inventory reconciliations. Other responsibilities include train and further develop necessary skills of other Team Members providing leadership, knowledge, and assistance; and maintain communication with internal and external department heads to achieve financial business and customer satisfaction objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience.

Experience: 3+ years of industry experience preferred; Planning, Operations, Sales, and Transportation experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Requires the ability to comprehend and lead planning processes through available existing and potential tools currently utilized in planning area. QMF ability in writing and executing basic programs i.e. queries, spreadsheets, to troubleshoot data etc. is preferable.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills thru various levels required. Ability to train other Team members in the work unit is critical for this position. Informal presentations to groups on work-related topics.

Special Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects, display effective and justifiable decision-making abilities, be detail oriented, trustworthy, and people and process oriented.

Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year
