Summary:
This position is responsible for all matters pertaining to HR regulatory and government contract compliance which may include overseeing preparation and audit of annual HR compliance activities for assigned locations and the enterprise, conducting analysis of hiring and selection processes and assisting with OFCCP compliance evaluations at scheduled locations and/or the enterprise. This position also provides oversight and auditing of good faith efforts to recruit, hire, and retain employees. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support managing compliance risks impacting the organization.
  • Prepare and review reports to assure compliance with all Federal contractor obligations and Tyson's policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training and support in policies and processes to Tyson HR staff, provide consultation and advice.
  • Implement procedures to ensure compliance program is effective in identifying, detecting, and correcting noncompliant issues.
  • Other appropriate duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
  • Experience: 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Computer Skills: Requires above standard computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to include strong presentation and training skills.
  • Special Skills: Knowledge in Human Resources, Employment Law. Good analytical skills.
  • Travel: 12+ domestic trips per year. Amount of travel will vary and be determined by auditing and training requirements.
